Worked as the Hyperion SME within the Solvency II project implementing QMR within the existing Hyperion environments. This project is still in progress and is due to go live at the end of 2015.


HFM enhancement re IFRS11/IAS28

Anglo American plc (UK FTSE listed, one of the world’s largest mining companies employing c.160,000 people)

Responsible for designing and implementing a solution for equity accounted Joint Ventures whilst maintaining a management view of Proportional consolidated JVs.


Roll-out of Hyperion

Friends Life plc (UK FTSE listed provider of pensions, investments and insurance with a heritage of over 200 years)

Responsible for establishing the Hyperion v11 upgrade project as a ‘Business As Usual’ financial system. This project also involved the transition of the support function from Dorking to London.


Upgrade of Hyperion system 9.2 to Oracle fusion edition

SABMiller plc (Brewing industry, Manufacturing sector)

Responsible for the successful migration of Hyperion 9.2 products to version Designated HFM lead and version 11 expert during this six month project.


Upgrade Hyperion system 9.3.1 to 64bit version

Pentland plc (Clothing & footwear brands, Retail sector)

A six month assignment to project manage the upgrade of Hyperion 9.3.1 software to v11.1.2 on new hardware incorporating a semi virtual environment. Version 11.1.2 successfully went live on time and within budget during December 2010.


Create 3 year strategic plan application (HFM)

SABMiller plc (Brewing industry, Manufacturing sector)

Responsible for the design and implementation of a new HFM application to capture and report strategic plan information.
