As a trusted Pentland partner for over 15 years BRS was engaged to enhance its reporting abilities by replacing Hyperion with OneStream. This project is still in progress and is due to go live at the end of 2024.

 

Implementation of OneStream Consolidation and Planning

OLX Group (Online marketplace sector)

Working from Berlin, BRS was the solution architect working for OLX and alongside Deloitte to deliver the Group's consolidation and reporting tool. This platform used several marketplace solutions including Accounts reconciliation.

 

Implementation of OneStream Statutory and management reporting

Micro focus plc (Software sector)

BRS joined an existing team to give guidance and to assist with the build project, and to ensure that new requirements, resulting from a major acquisition of HPE, were incorporated within a tight timeframe. BRS had the opportunity to re-design and streamline the solution during a subesquent phase to include additional functionality.

 

Implementation of Oracle Quantitative Management Reporting (QMR) 11.1.2.3

Friends Life Group (Insurance industry, Financial sector)

Worked as the Hyperion SME within the Solvency II project implementing QMR within the existing Hyperion environments. This project is still in progress and is due to go live at the end of 2015.

 

HFM enhancement re IFRS11/IAS28 11.1.1.3

Anglo American plc (UK FTSE listed, one of the world’s largest mining companies employing c.160,000 people)

Responsible for designing and implementing a solution for equity accounted Joint Ventures whilst maintaining a management view of Proportional consolidated JVs.

 

Roll-out of Hyperion 11.1.2.1

Friends Life plc (UK FTSE listed provider of pensions, investments and insurance with a heritage of over 200 years)

Responsible for establishing the Hyperion v11 upgrade project as a ‘Business As Usual’ financial system. This project also involved the transition of the support function from Dorking to London.

 

Upgrade of Hyperion system 9.2 to Oracle fusion edition 11.1.1.3

SABMiller plc (Brewing industry, Manufacturing sector)

Responsible for the successful migration of Hyperion 9.2 products to version 11.1.1.3. Designated HFM lead and version 11 expert during this six month project.
